Dear Readers,

I’m redoing the covers for my Fairy Tales of the Magciorum series, including Book 3, SHIFTERS AND GLYPHS. Why update stuff? The Magicorum covers are all over the place. Some are funny, others look dramatic. A few are drawn, most are photos. It’s annoying the fuck out of me.

In this case, the original of this cover has an image of Knox that I loved, but a wolf that always resembled a doggy to me. So changing the look is bitter-sweet.

That said, I’m not just a mindless rage machine over inconsistent covers. I’m also SUPER EXCITED for the next book in the Magicorum series, Book 5, BANDITS AND BALL GOWNS! This journey began when I redesigned that cover and grew from there.

So without further ado, here’s the new cover for SHIFTERS AND GLYPHS.  You can see the new cover below. Be sure to scroll down to check out the before-and-after. Fun!

Here’s the before and after. Although it was tough to take Knox out of the cover, I think it’s more consistent overall to have the focus be on Bry…

Here’s how it looks in the first three books of the series. Bry, Bry, Bry!

And check out the full print wrap cover. Pretty!

After being raised by the meanest fairies in the history of ever, Bryar Rose is now free to live her own life. For the first time, she’s attending West Lake Prep, a regular high school. Well, mostly regular. Some students are actually hidden members of the Magicorum. In other words, they’re really wizards, fairies, or shifters. Bry doesn’t mind, though. She’s thrilled to enjoy all the new experiences of being around normal kids her age, from locker pranks to lunchtime mystery meat. Everything is going along great, except for one thing.

Bry’s dreams about the pyramids of Egypt have gotten darker and more sinister. Every night, she sees her new man Knox and her best friend Elle in danger.

With no other choice, Bry plans to leave school to explore the pyramids on her own. But her new man Knox discovers the scheme and is having none of it. He wants to stay by her side, no matter what. It’s a good thing too, because Bry must solve the mystery of her attraction to the pyramids and soon. Otherwise, it could cost the lives of those she loves most…and that means not only Knox, but also her best friend Elle.
